Local Birdwatchers Using the Birdingpal resources you must agree to the following: If you contact a local Birdingpal and make arrangement to go birding, you should note it is common courtesy to make sure you show up for the appointment. If for any reason you are unable to do this, the least you must do is contacting the local Pal right away. Please note that most Birdingpals are serious birdwatchers. It is a privilege to contact them, and your message should reflect it. A local Pal does not get paid, but should he/she offer to take you out birding, using their own vehicle, it would be courteous to pay for the fuel. Area: Area Birds:	I had the pleasure of spending two days with Percy Hanley on St Kitts in Feb. He is a kind, gentle man that will help you find and see many local birds on the island. His knowledge of the island is vast and I cannot express how much fun I had. I did bring him a gift from Horicon Marsh-which he seemed pleased with. I also paid for gas both days as it is very exspensive on the island. I would love to get Percy to come to Wisconsin so I could return the favor and take him birding here. 		We recently visited St. Kitts for the first time, and had many wonderful experiences. One of these was the Rainforest Hike with Greg's Safaris. Deon(sp?) was our local guide for our party of four. He was extremely knowledgeable about the plant and animal life that we encountered, as well as the history of the island. He was a very pleasant hiking partner, and the snacks that he provided at the end were a nice finish to a great day. I would recommend Greg's Safaris to anyone wishing to see beautiful St. Kitts up close. Chris and Sharon Bell, USA
